Milo's adventure was about to begin! The tollbooth had been constructed. He picked up the handbook and map and was ready to go. There was only one thing left to do- dust off the electric car and drive through the tollbooth. And that's just what he did!
@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- now you've seen what doesn't get done when I'm on 365! @changingtides Thanks Allie! It's a clever book. And I just found out that it's the 50th anniversary of its publication. So, how appropriate is that?!
@digitalrn This is for the book & word challenge- interesting? Not sure! But that's what I got for the word today- dusted- so a dusting picture it is! Thanks for being so gracious!!
@dmariewms haha Marie- that gave me a good laugh! Yes, this duster needs a good dusting! @karenann Thanks Karenann- I must confess, this is actually the duster we clean off the ceiling fan with. I don't know what happened to my feather duster! It's gone missing. It used to hang in my laundry closet, but it's not there now. Hmmm- a mystery! I wonder if my better half knows the answer (o:
Great shot! Love the patterns and textures in the duster - it reminds me of christmas tinsel! (BTW I'm starting to think your book is a lot easier than mine... I'm not sure a mediaeval novel was the best choice for me... :) )
@alia_801 Thanks Alia! I must say, I tested several books out before I chose this one- not all children's books either. But of the children's books, Phantom was the fourth. First I tested a book of poems, then a fantasy, then Dr. Seuss and finally Phantom. I wanted to be sure I'd have words I could photograph. The poems were ok, but there were a lot of ands, goes and buts. Which constantly had me hoping to the next word. The fantasy had some things I just wouldn't be able to shoot- we don't have too many unicorns around here. Dr. Seuss had too many Dr. Seuss words, so Phantom won out. I would think the one you chose would work great- if you lived next door to a castle and your neighbor was a knight in shinning armor!
@melorac Thank you Carole!
