Monochrome

I was all set to find something drab and grey to use as a subject for today's word, when a thought crossed my mind, "Why do we always think of black and white when we think of the word monochrome. Doesn't monochrome mean one (mono) color (chrome)?" It struck me that I'd taken a beautiful monochrome photograph of the first frost the other day which I had not posted. So here it is- a frosty study in blue.
I like this in blue, and a great idea to represent monochrome.
