What I started out with and what I ended up with for today's treasure hunt word were quite different. But we have family coming to visit and I need to finish getting the house in order, so this will have to do! I am not a big fan of noise. I am the more quiet, contemplative type. So when I think of noise in photographic terms, I think of loud colors streaming across a page. Some loud noises are fun though- like the sound of 70,000 fans cheering in a stadium or the sound of waves crashing on the shore- so, noise isn't all that bad at times. I'm hoping that this splishy-splashy abstract can go either way. Does it remind you of some boisterous cacophony that drives you crazy, or does it bring to mind something more enjoyable, like children playing, cheering fans, rushing wind or the sounds of powerful music?
I know I'm behind on some of my viewing and commenting, but things will quiet down by Sunday, so I hope to get back on track by then!
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @karenann Thanks Karenann! @prttblues Thanks Bev! (I don't know about a work of art- but it's definitely a piece of work!) @woot Thanks Davide! @mrssmith Thanks Carla! (Jeff is in the other room giving Katie a guitar lesson right now, so I am grabbing some 365 time!) @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! @digitalrn Thanks Rick (I think (o: ) @dmariewms Thanks Marie!
Thank you all for the fantastic response- this is another one of those shots that I had a concept in mind but when I started playing around with the processing- well, let's just say I probably can't remember how I did this!
@olivetreeann I went back and read my comment. I was typing too fast, or too tired. Yes, on the right side I see an angry dragon with his black eyes and nostrils. I'm tired :)
like rick, first thing i saw was this red dragon making too much noise :-) there's also a large pig on the upper left and a little red shark right beside it. there's a jellyfish, a baby elephant and a ghost. it would be a cacophony of deafening sounds if they all make sounds at the same time.
@karenann Thanks Karenann!
