It's the day in between the crucifixion and the resurrection. I can't imagine how confusing, demoralizing and depressing this day must have been for the disciples. Thankfully, it was not the end of the story.

Jesus answered them saying, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal."

@summerfield Thanks Vikki! When I took the shot I was aware of how bright it was, but just shot it straight anyway (instead of taking a bunch of shots playing with the exposure). I ended up liking the stark/bright light even though I think a softer lighting would also look very nice.
