I originally posted this shot in a collage a while back. Many of you wanted to see it on its own, so here it is. This shot was actually taken in broad daylight, but an outer space texture applied in Picmonkey gave it a whole new feeling.
@espyetta Thanks MaryBeth- I think you were the first, but I remember there were a couple. I was just waiting for a busy day to post it and here it is!! Thank you so much for the fav! @mrssmith Thanks Carla- it really looks like nighttime to me! @kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi! @cimes1 Thanks Carole! And thank you so much for the fav! @ayearofpics Thank you Sage!
@digitalrn Thanks Rick. This was one time where the "texture" application matched perfectly with the shot and you couldn't really tell it wasn't taken this way. I think that's why so many people are drawn to it. It really looks like a night shot.
@cortens Thanks Julie! I have to chuckle because I really like the day shot better, but all the positive views gravitate toward the processed one! @sangwann Thanks Dione! Most of the time when you put a texture over a picture, it looks like you put a texture over the picture. But this one just blended perfectly. @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole!
I really do love how the texture on this does not look like a texture at all. It's one of those time that the original and texture fit perfectly together.
@pj Thank you very much PJinIA! Yes, this shot was actually taken during the day and the stars added later. I originally was going to post only the day shot, but was fooling around with the texture and liked how the stars looked natural on the shot. So I made it into a collage called "Night and Day". But several folks wanted to see the Night shot posted solo, so that's how it ended up here. Thank you so much for the fav!!
