We had three huge thunder and lightning storms yesterday and the dew was still heavy this morning as the sun poked through. I love how the water droplets lined this leaf as if someone had taken one of those craft gadgets to it and trimmed it with rhinestones.
I'm so jealous, we need rain so badly. The kids and I went out to one of our favorite county parks today and the lake there is half the size it normally is. It's very depressing. Love this shot, though. I just love pictures of plants with water drops on them.

Although we are not as bad off as you folks are, the water levels are down here too. So these storms were very helpful- although the last one was very severe and I noticed a few large branches down in a couple places when I ran errands this afternoon. @mrssmith Thanks Carla! I've never seen them do that before. I was glad that I saw it when I did. 15 minutes later and they were gone! @mhatch Thanks Mark! It will be awhile before we see frost! @prttblues Thanks Bev! I thought so! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! Since we had not one, but three big downpours yesterday, my potted plants were actually water-logged! I was emptying one out when I noticed this plant's lovely "jewels".

I somehow have managed to pick up 200 + followers and it appears I have somehow insanely followed many of them back (what WAS I thinking?), so I am now concentrating on everyone's 365 album for commenting with a special handful (including voi!) where I specifically track down album 2 (and in some cases #3) to make a comment, but I'm still missing a bunch of photos every day- I know it! So, never feel bad!
