O'keeffe Seashell by olivetreeann

O'keeffe Seashell

I wanted to post one more shot in O'Keeffe's style. I was familiar with her lily and floral paintings, but the building and seashell pictures were new to me. I love seashells so I thought I'd use one from my collection for this final entry in the artist challenge. This was processed in BeFunky to look like an oil painting and then two layers of texture were added in Picmonkey to complete O'Keeffe's approach to backgrounds.
Her seashells are new to me also. But this looks like her. Good photo.

This is very well done. I have been wondering about doing a shell shot for the challenge but haven't found a shell yet! May run out of time.

@chrismarfil Thank you Chris- that was my goal!
@salza Thank you Sally. It just so happens that I've got plenty of them- which made it easier to imitate one of her shell shots. I was going to leave it with this one but might try to do one of her leaf shots today. We'll see.
@sangwann Thank you Dione!
@lesleyallen Thank you Lesley! I have really enjoyed this challenge as I've always admired her colors and style.
