Today's instructions were to post a photo of "people I am lucky to have touch my life". Well, I don't know if I'd equate the people in my life with luck. I think more importantly, people who have touched my life are the ones God has put there. God has woven a rich tapestry of people into my life, and the first threads would have to be my parents. I am dealing with a large hole in my life this year with both of them gone, but I am so grateful to have had them for as long as I did.
I fully understand, that huge hole never fully closes but it does get smaller. God is good to us and indeed puts just the right people in our lives. Lovely portrait of your parents.
What a lovely picture of them and a lovely tribute to them. We are all blessed and for the better for your parents for bringing you into the world to share your part of the world and part of your life with us here at 365. So to your parents, thank you. And to you, a very beautiful image.
Thank you Kerri, Julie (true Julie- it takes time), Dione, Phil, Dorrena, Sarah, Bev, Karen, Carla (me too), and Kathryn! I was also trying to think of a way to demonstrate how all of you have also been a blessing to me, but I've stuffed too many pictures on my camera card and I have to wait for the new one to arrive! In the meantime, I'll do scans and use the Nikon that was given to me as a gift. It still does the funny focus thing, but I can work with it for now. Thanks again everyone!!
@pandorasecho Thank you Dixie!
@tara11 Thank you Tara!

Thank you Rick (I know you understand this!).
