Artsy Strainer by olivetreeann

Artsy Strainer

Took this shot for the week of household item in the Flash of Red Challenge, but never used it. Thought I'd stick in here as a final and fond farewell to a month of black and white shots in my 365 album. Ahhh! So looking forward to color tomorrow!!
Very cool processing, reminds me of a pen and ink drawing. Interesting perspective.

Great shot with great composition. I like the reversal which made the shot seem more dark than light. I also like the graininess. don't faint when you read this: I have decided to stay with black and white a while longer.

@daisy Thank you Kathryn! I just read that you were going to continue with the black and white on your last oil shot and I was very proud of you!! I know it's been a stretch to think black and white, but I really have seen growth in your shots as you've worked some of the challenges through. I'm glad that it's been a positive enough experience that you want to work with it a while longer. I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll come up with!

@sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! I was trying to do the whole month without the artsy type of processing which is why it didn't make it into the main album. But it is fine for here!

@prttblues Thanks Bev! I think it's the "drawing" effect with "invert" but it's been a while since I played with it!

@eniaral Thank you Laraine! I'm hooked on those reflection frames! haha- I have to keep myself from putting them on every picture!
