One of Judy's orchids is blooming. Getting this shot was a little tricky as I could not move the pot and the blossom was facing away from me. I can't get over how delicate the petals are, or how vibrant the color is.

@httpgeffed It's really a gorgeous plant- I wish we'd been able to turn the pot- but it's heavy and she has five blossoms right now that she doesn't want to disturb.

Enlarged this to get a better look.. first I noticed the colour then the wonderful frilled edge then the shimmery texture. Beautiful flower and a great shot
