This beautiful stained glass window from the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church in Caldwell depicts the account in the Gospel of Luke where many people brought loved ones who were sick and infirm to Jesus and He healed them. I remembered how beautiful these windows were. I had forgotten how magnificent the artistry in them was. They are truly stunning.
@taffy Thank you Taffy! I had trouble deciding which window to post! @filsie65 Thank you Phil! They literally glow! @jesperani Thank you Jennifer! The artistry is stunning- especially when you stand close to them. @sangwann Thank you Dione! I'm sure you have some spectacular windows in your churches as well.
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! This is one of 10 double-arched windows that grace the sides of the sanctuary. There are also 10 six-sided windows in the ceiling, a large triple-arched window at the back of the balcony and several other windows lining the stairs to the balcony and the vestibules of the doorways. If I counted them all correctly in my memory, there are 21 in all! And each one is made with the most exquisite and vibrant colors. It really is quite beautiful!
@httpgeffed Thanks Colleen!
