I was running through my mind that you could actually sail there in your boat- but the Delaware River has spots where it is not very deep and I think your boat might get stuck! Technically speaking though- it is possible to sail down the Pacific coast, cross through the Panama Canal, head along the southern coast and around Florida, go up the East coast to the border of Delaware and Pennsylvania and in to the mouth of the Delaware, sail past Philadelphia and on up to the Milford beach where you would disembark and head by foot up to Grey Towers.
Thank you everyone! I particularly liked this shot the minute I took it. I will be slowly catching up on all your pictures. The floor is down, the sander comes tomorrow and then it will be stained with tung oil. That takes a week to dry so there'll be plenty of time for catching up then!
