Lots of problems with this picture but probably the only shot I'll ever get of a bee that was fascinated with my camera- most fly in the opposite direction unless they are busy collecting pollen. Not this fellow though! He really wanted to get up close and personal with the shiny lens. The bright sun made seeing any image in my viewfinder impossible. And without some sort of fill flash, he appears as more of a silhouette than a close-up bee shot. But, it is what it is, and I'll just have to "bee" happy with that.
Oh, I have "been there, done that" with the sun so bright you cannot see to get the pic. There is something really right with this shot, as well. It captures the feel of a hot SUMMER day (even though it is not) and has a whimsical feel to it.
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @httpgeffed lol Colleen- I like your B better than my bee. @espyetta Thanks MaryBeth- I know you know about this- you are the Bug Queen! I don't mind the silhouette too much but I do wish there was a little more blue sky around him. @fullcircle Thank you Cindy!
If that were me, I'd be running in the opposite direction of the bee, not trying to take its photo! Great job, Ann! Love the way the suns rays shoot out from the corner.
This reminds me of a quote, "in a world where you can be anything, Bee yourself! :) coudn't resist some fun on this one. Wonder why this bee was attracted to the camera, perhaps it thought it was a cool new sort of flower?

Thanks to all you bee-u-tiful people for such kind words- they were as sweet as honey to me!
Thank you Vickie!
Thank you Pam! I thought it might be the sun glare- but who knows?!
