Benched

I don't know why dear, but sometimes talking to you is like talking to a statue.

I purposely processed this photo to alter this woman's face as I do not know her, and don't know if she'd be pleased to have her picture circulating on the internet! But when this photo presented itself the other day, there was no way I could not take one street candid to add to my 365 project!
Good shot - love the processing.

Great capture

Wild! The metallic processing creates a dehumanizing feel which is perfect.

What a cool effect! What program does that, if I may ask? It feels like a commentary on (some) long relationships, intimately distant...

Love the processing and the title!

Thank you Gerry, Kerri, Allison, Michael, Taffy, Sally, Rick, Colleen, Dione, and Laraine!

@allie912 I hadn't looked at it that way- but you're right!
@vankrey I processed this one at BeFunky.com It's a free on-line processing site that has quite a selection of "artistic effects". This one is called "Gouache" (I think I spelled that wrong) and after I applied the effect I bumped up the color just a bit to bring out some of those tinted areas.
@eniaral The man IS a statue; the woman is not.

This is so creative!

@mrssmith203 Thank you Carla! It's one of those sneaky candid shots. I was waiting in the car for Nada to find me and this woman was wandering around the parking lot. I guess she was waiting for someone. Eventually she made her way next to this statue and then sat down on the bench! Normally I do not take shots of people's faces but this picture was too perfect to pass up.

Cool shot, Ann! :) Neat processing. It almost looks like one of those old photo tins they used to use to get pictures! Good job! :)

@prttblues Thanks Bev! I didn't want to post an outright photo of her without consent. This worked really nicely with the statue.
