Baby Wrens

I was sitting at the dining room table browsing 365 shots yesterday when I heard quite a commotion outside my sliding glass doors. It was a group of 5 Carolina Wrens chatting and whirring away. They are such tiny birds, but they are LOUD! It appears that most of them were youngsters, probably being trained in bug catching or some other wren activity. I think they were complaining about the class taking too long. I wasn't sure if my camera would capture the two that were singing away on top of the old bird house. But it did! It's not a shot that's going to appear in Birds n' Blooms, but it does give you a good idea of how cute these little chirpers are.

@prttblues Thank you Bev! This is the limit of my zoom. Yes, it would have gone closer but both birds would have been very blurry. I'm glad it came out though. They have been so cute this week.
