Christmas Light Wave by olivetreeann

Christmas Light Wave

After the sun went down, the neighbor's Christmas lights went on. So I took a quick walk over there and played around with the lights and my camera. You never know what you're going to get with these "experiments", but I liked how this one reminded me of an ocean wave. Surf's up!
So cool! Reminds me of a Chinese New Year dragon in a parade

@mzzhope Thanks Hope! Yes, it does look like one of them- minus all the little legs running about underneath it!

@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! I had one that was steady but the this one when I moved the camera on purpose just had more character.

Wired popped into my mind. Love all the bright colours. We don't have many Christmas lights around. One of my neighbours usually decorates her house but she hasn't started putting them up yet.

Thank you all for the comments. It's really fun to read all the different things you saw. That's what I always enjoy with these posts- so many different ways of seeing one thing. And isn't "seeing" one of the biggest parts of photography? Thanks again!

@bruni Thank you Bruni! I never know how they're going to turn out, so it's always fun when they get uploaded to use my imagination for the titles.
