I went to a lunch gathering at church today and on my way there I noticed some rather large ice floes on the Delaware River. So on my return journey I stopped by one of the boat launches to capture a shot. It was bitter cold and windy but at least we had sunshine and blue skies!
Thank you Kerri, Glendq, Sally, Hope, Alia, Dione, Rick, Nicole and Laurie! We are back to warmer temps today which is nice. But I think the crisp air temps yesterday actually made the blue of the sky and river even bluer.
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! Thankfully just bits and pieces of it. We had a warmer day yesterday, so this morning the chunky parts are gone and only a thin top layer remains.
@prttblues Thanks Bev! @vesna0210 Thanks Vesna! It was pretty chilly on this day. I don't remember the exact temperature, but it was also windy which makes it feel even colder. I think it was somewhere around 30 to 35 degrees on this day. Today (3/19) it is hovering around 40 degrees. And next week it is supposed to be cold again.
