Springtime at Eschback Farm

Although this shot looked just fine sooc, I really had the itch to turn it into a painting tonight! I've seen a few people trying out an on-line program that has some nice artsy effects, so I popped over to my favorite spot for that- BeFunky. Of course you know I'm going to check out the other one too!
Nice. I like the effect.

Neat scene--like the old building and bare tree. Nice processing, too.

did you get a peek inside? the structure looks forlorn with that darkness inside, but i rather like the greens around it.

Nicely framed by the tree

Oh Ann,these processing apps are fun aren't they? I love the composition of this, the tree against the barn and the green green grass.

I use befunky too - this looks very natural in a way but more effective!

I love the distressed look of the barn. This is a fav for me.

Lovely color, and of course an old barn always makes for a great shot

Thank you to everyone! It's a great little barn- but very wobbly! Not much inside, but you wouldn't want to walk in there lest you go through to the ground floor!

@nancih Thank you for the fav Nanci! Much appreciated!

Nice shot, Ann. Very lovely effect. It gives life to something left abandon. What's the other online site for photos? I am still working on the "bring art to life" effect on a picture. Something is off about it. Well done on this one.

@prttblues Thanks Bev! A few people have been using a "trial period" of SnapArt 4. I checked it out today and although it has some very nice effects, when the trial period is up, it costs $99. To be honest though, I would not pay it. The effects are lovely, but BeFunky is free and it has some similar effects to them. It also appears that with BeFunky or Ribbet or Picmonkey you get a wide range of effects, but with SnapArt you have to buy several "apps" to get them all. I'll be posting some pictures I processed with it, but I'm not planning to buy it.
