My mother made a scrapbook for me, collecting pictures, cards and momentos from my childhood and putting them together with her own words about me. This is my favorite shot of her holding me as a baby. I've always loved the words she wrote underneath, "So soft".
What a wonderful memory and so soft indeed. It´s a wonderful idea to do for a child and such a wonderful to have as a adult. Can see why you like this one so much, it´s full of soft mood!
Absolutely priceless! I've been sorting through the family photos, and it seems my dad wrote delighted captions on many of our childhood pics! Makes me miss him.

Me too, lots of emotional moments this month but very glad you shared it with me. Wonderful treasure this picture. I remember marveling over the softness f my babies and their sweet smell
What a wonderful idea your Mom had with the photos and scrapbook. I wish I had something like that or even taught about it when my two were small. I remember very little of my childhood and have hardly any pictures. your picture of your mom holding you is to precious.

this does have a soft feel about it. i wish i had been more diligent with our family pictures in the past. but a lot of them were lost in the floods. i have saved all the photos i've taken and those that had me in them. but i sometimes am left wondering about a lot more that i had seen over the years and they're all just in my head now.
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! I have some in my head too- and I get them mixed up with what I have so I'll sometimes spend hours looking for "that shot" only to find out I've mixed it up with something else!
