You seem to have less snow than us. I would have hated to get out Saturday to shoot so much snow and so so cold. But you captured something lovely here.
@weebindi2 Thank you Helen and thank you so much for the fav! @nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! @taffy Thank you Taffy! @barb_b Thank you Barb and thank you so much for the fav! @joansmor Thanks Joan! We had about a foot, and tonight (Sunday) we'll be getting a few more inches. That's about par for this time of year. @thistle Thank you Joyce! @alisonp Thank you Alison! And thank you so much for the fav! @nicoleterheide Thank you Nicole! @thresheg Thank you Graham! @salza Thank you Sally! @fugitivemoments Thank you Linda!
@gratefulness Thank you Sandi and thank you so much for the fav! @joansmor I thought Maine did get a lot of snow in the winter. I guess it's just Vermont and New Hampshire then. @pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula!
@olivetreeann We do get a lot of snow but this past week and a half has been brutal. And more coming Thursday. Usually we get about 6 inches average in a snow storm with one or two in the 12" amounts. And the storms are a week apart. 4Feet of snow is a lot to deal with in 9 days.
@joansmor I can sympathize! Last year was our year for the record books. We ended up with quite a bit in our backyard and it seemed to take forever to melt! Here's a shot from last year's "flash of red" showing what it looked like in the beginning of February: http://365project.org/olivetreeann/365/2014-02-05
Hang in there!!
I have to admit its the cold that's getting to me more. We won't even rise to the freezing mark for several more days. And the wind chills are awful some days. But as an old Mainer I think I have the grit to bear it. Just like to complain sometimes. But I'll take snowstorms to tornadoes any day.
Thank you Eternally Blue, Colleen, Bev, Jenny, Kerri, Nada and Daisy!
