Good guesses everyone! Some funny and some pretty close!! I was at the supermarket doing the food shopping for the week. As I got out of the car I noticed the snow melting on top of the covering over the shopping carts. The sun was coming through the clear plastic making the ridges look more like lines and the silhouette of the snow looked like mountains to me.
