I was helping Judy out today and ran out of time to capture a new shot. So I looked through some of my recent photos to see if I could find anything that related to Debs' list. Sure enough, I found one with my favorite color- blue. (Although I must say I equally like green and sunflower yellow just as much!). This fellow was enjoying the mild weather on Musconetcong Lake. The lake was created in 1846 as the Morris Canal's Stanhope Reservoir. The water in the lake was used to power local industries and supply water to the Canal. Mules treading an earthen causeway pulled boats filled with iron ore, coal, or freight across a channel carved in the lake bed. The Morris Canal is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Thank you Sally, Chris, Taffy, Maggie, Debs, Francoise, Joyce, Katy and Joan!
