@daisymiller This is not really on display in my home (although other shots I took in my film days are). I just layer the photograph over the oil painting that's really hanging there. This is really not my taste either- I prefer country scenes!
@grammyn No, it was really a fail as when I took the shot, I wasn't sure if it would come out (drive by shooting!), but good or bad, I just don't like it! LOL
@olivetreeann - That's what makes me scratch my head too Ann. Some of the ones I take that have gotten the biggest responses are total surprises to me. So then I wonder, do I have a true understanding of what people like?
@skipt07 Good thoughts Skip! I often have that very conversation with one of my photo club friends. How can you tell what people will like and not like? You can't! Taste is very subjective as well as likes and dislikes. So in the end, you shoot what you are happy with and if others like it, well that's a bonus! This shot only made it on here because, 1) two of my faithful followers wanted to see it, and 2) I didn't have time to take a picture or process a better photo today so it came in handy that I'd already processed it! @cruiser Thank you Chris!
