The "artist" name Lingasugur comes from a small town in the Indian state of Kamataka. There are many temples and forts there and the festivals of Muharram and Maha Shivarati are major celebrations.
The album title comes from a quote by Dr. Seuss (so happy I landed on that one!):
UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.
The picture I've used before but not processed this way and since we don't have to use a new photo for this challenge it seemed to fit the album title perfectly. Here's my granddaughter Lucy creating a mirror image of herself- someone just like her!
Wonderful processing. I love your choice of colors--the blues and greens of the title contrast nicely with the prevailing pinks. Great message, too--though I didn't get it until I read your explanation.
Thank you Nicole, Jen, Sondra, Adrian, Katy, Barb, Diane, Nicole, Larry, and Lisa!
I appreciate (really I do!!) all your views and comments! We had a late night "at the theater" last night so I'm barely keeping my eyes open now! I'll be back tomorrow to catch up with you!
Wow that's a lot of creative juices flowing for the album cover challenge...bravo! I love beautiful capture of your granddaughter, the bright colour, POV and processing are awesome.
