Stained Glass Flower

I was supposed to meet up with a friend last week to help her with auditions for a play she is directing. We got our wires crossed though and I ended up in one place and she another. After calling her cell phone and getting no answer, I decided to see if a door for the church might be open. I was surprised when it was. The stained glass windows in the sanctuary were stunning and truly glowed in the morning light. Thinking that she'd arrive any minute I wandered around taking as many shots as I could but 45 minutes later, I figured something must have happened or I had the wrong place so I headed home. We connected later that day but all in all the trip may not have turned out as I expected, I still came home with some beautiful pictures! (My only hindrance was not being tall enough to get the complete window in the shot. It made me wish I had my wide angle lens with me!
