While plenty of trees came down (and took power and cable lines with them) these two leaves held fast during Riley's 60 mph winds.
We survived too thanks to our woodstove, a good neighbor and good friends who opened their home to us so we could shower and do laundry. And thanks to the perseverance and diligence of our power company we were up and running again on March 8th.

@joansmor Many of the ones that had stayed on blew off in the 60mph winds which surprised me because when Sandy blew through we didn't seem to loose any. I thought maybe it was because it was winter. But I'm no naturalist, so who knows!
