Impressionist Bog 1

Even though I'd gone to the bog to photograph the Skunk Cabbage, I kept getting drawn to the grasses and reflections in the bog. I decided I'd like to experiment with purposely taking shots out of focus or slightly blurred and then processing them like an Impressionist painting. This was attempt #1.

This is cool - on my short list of possible ways to form a surreal image was the idea of blurring - I can see why they suggested that. I like it. :)

Less like impressionism to me and more contemporary. Kandinsky comes to mind but that might be the wrong artist. Still very well done to emulate a paintingf so well with a camera!
