Hospital rooms have changed a lot in the last few years- they're much "friendlier" now. When I had my right knee done the covid craziness hadn't happened yet and Jeff was actually able to stay for the night using a futon just like this one. This time around it remained empty but still made the room feel a bit more cozy.
I am so sorry he couldn't be there. When I had my surgery last fall my daughter was able to be there with me but it was not an overnight stay so I was hoping and prayiing he would get to be there with you.
AN interesting processing that makes the furniture look like a cartoon.
Ahhhh looks are deceptive, that futon is hard as a rock! I’ve slept on several over the years staying with Jerry during his hospital stays. This is a great edit!
Thanks to one and all! My recovery continues to go well. Actually Jeff could have been with me when I came back to the room post-op but he'd miscalculated the amount of time my surgery would take and had gone home (a 40 minute drive)! We decided he should stay there since I'd mostly be sleeping and was coming home the next day anyway. So we had a nice chat on the phone instead. (o;
