We run a yearly competition with a nearby photo club that involves a list of pictures we have a certain amount of time to capture. One of the items on this year's list is a shot with "rim lighting". I noticed the other night when clouds were somewhat obscuring the moon that it made what light could bounce off the wonderful "satellite" of our earth look as if the light was coming from behind and out-lining the edge of the moon. Timing and cloud thickness was of the essence here- but I promise you- this is a sooc shot with no additional exposure fiddling to get that bright edge.
Thank you Dorre, Diana, Annie, Lynn, Kathy, Babs, Joan, Katy, Harry, Laura, Kathy, Katrina, Corinne, and Rob! I kept nodding off as I was trying to upload this last night and every time I did, I ended up deleting the commentary! It's added in there now. thanks for all your views, comments and favs!
