Parking Light

The only thing this lighthouse guards is cars! It sits in the center of a parking lot by the beach in York, Maine.

Once again I am bombarding you with many pictures- but there's only one more batch to go and then it's back to normal posting in June- phew! Thanks for your patience- and please- don't feel obligated to comment on them all.

@grammyn I'm not sure- I didn't walk around it, but it seems to be covering up something municipal with that pipe in front there. It's not very tall- I think it was even shorter than the street lamps, so it never had a practical purpose like lighting the coast line as far as I could see. Still a fun quirky item to take a picture of.
