There is a little tab at the bottom of my computer that tells me what "day" it is if it's something special. Today was "International Day of Human Space Flight (is there such a think as inhuman or unhuman space flight???). So the Space Guy and I put this together.
I look up these day on a sight so I can possible use them as an idea to start one of my FB groups. Only I schedule the post so it comes on at Midnight then any one having trouble sleeping has a place to post. Often I don't find anything inspiring some are really weird and most are about food. I didn't see this one listed and wasn't inspired by any of the others. But it is fun to look and know. Do I choose National Gardening Day and Look up at the sky day. Think I will choose Gardening as I think I did the other one last year.
Actually, the first space flight was not accomplished by humans. Fruit flies dogs and monkeys were some of the first living things that went into space.
there was, remember Ham the chimp and Ham the astrochimp? plus i'm sure there are others. but then again, the monkeys/apes/chimps were a precursor to humans. so never mind. 🤣
@grammyn That’s what occurred to me too, quite a few flights before they actually put a human up there even if humans were behind the project. Like this image you’ve put together for the day.
@grammyn I would call that "non-human" (as opposed to un-human and inhuman) and I remember the chimp- although his name isn't coming to me right now.
