Another shot from Castle Ashby. There are some fabulous trees in the gardens - absolutely enormous and obviously very old. I think this is a Giant Redwood - one of the tallest trees there but I am sure it is tiny compared to the Giant Redwoods some of you in the US have. Oh boy I would love to see them!! I definitely have a thing for trees!! Is that strange? LOL!!

Nice perspective, ti really gives you an idea of the size of the tree. We had a giant redwood in the grounds of the hospital I work in which was really quite special but, unfortunately, "health and safety" has decreed its removal!!!
