A quick upload of a shot taken earlier this week. We have returned home today as the central heating in the holiday house was not working again this morning and no hot water - again!! It was lovely to put our heating on when we got home as the house felt quite cold. This evening I felt cold and when I checked the radiators I realised the central heating had gone off. Yes we have no control heating here at home!! Can you believe it!! I have made an appointment for the repair man to come out sometime tomorrow. What is going on?
I liked this shot of the little boats and yachts on the river and it was only when I was processing it did I see the Royal Navy Ship moored in the ship yard in Appledore.
Must be an important port this little harbour at Appledore! You are having trouble with your heating! We don't have central heating here as a rule! Just light the fire!
Very cool to see the way the ship just blends right into all the action in the foreground. And no heat -- that is NOT pleasant. And in two places...what are the odds. It's actually snowing here at the moment! Nothing is sticking, but still...it's April...crazy,
