I think this had the potential to be a good pic, but I was in a big fat hurry and barely stopped my car, pointed, snapped and stepped on the gas.
I was checking the route for a 5K run and I noticed this cool composition of the moon setting as the sky began to lighten at dawn, with the glass reflecting the rising sun behind me. But my supervisor was waiting on me to give my findings, so I couldn't take the time for a proper shot.
Gee, why does work have to get in the way of my fun? LOL
And I have officially gotten my days confused. I thought it was because I worked insane hours over the weekend and couldn't keep the days straight, but I've noticed something today. 365's calendars start on Monday rather than Sunday. I kept looking from their calendar to mine and back to theirs, trying to figure out how I missed a day. I'm still confused. LOL Maybe I'm still sleep deprived.
Anyway, this pic was taken at dawn on SUNDAY.
Yep. Took me about three weeks to notice that. Then I remembered Ross is in England and that's how they roll with the calendar in Europe. Sunday is part of the weekend, so it's at the "end" of the week. Makes sense doesn't it?
@webfoot Yeah, I was poking around the FAQ's earlier this evening and happened upon that little bit of info. It will take some getting used to, now that I've noticed it.
