This is the front of the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles' skid row, with some of our city's homeless lined up out front trying to get a bed for the night. The line extends down the block to the right.
This was a drive by shot...slow down, roll down the window, snap and step on the gas. I couldn't really stop to consider the composition. I'm sure you understand. ;-)
@webfoot Yep, I see what you mean. Editing is a problem for me for 2 reasons: 1) I don't really have an 'eye' for it, and 2) I downloaded Picasa and the editing tools are real different than WIndows Photo Gallery. There's a lot more of them, which is great, but I'm still trying to get a handle on all the options I have to work with now.
