There are many lovely seating areas in the Nature Garden. I only discovered the garden this past fall, so this is the first time I'm seeing things in bloom (well, actually there's ALWAYS something blooming, but it's much more now). I was curious to find out what kind of vine was enveloping this bench, and now I know.
I didn't really do it justice. Not enough definition of the flowers...oh well. At least I got my shot in. :-)
And I HATE those faux terracotta pots hanging over the bench...how dare they conspire to ruin my composition. I'd like to sneak in some night and snatch them away. LOL
I love wisteria and you have composed a fabulous shot of it!. It has great light and the bench is the perfect counterpoint to the blossoms! Wonderful light and shadows, Rose!

Yes, Arlington Garden. Wonderful hidden gem.
They have planted a wide variety of plants and every time I go, it's a new discovery as things bloom and fade.
So very gorgeous and romantic! I agree about the pots. I was taking pictures in my community and they left old dying wreaths on the places I was photographing. sometimes they try too hard. Lovely photograph!
