Bee on Lavender

I'm so happy to see so many bees buzzing around. I've been hearing reports for at least a year or two about the decrease in bee populations, so I can't help but smile every time I see them busy in the flower beds. :-D

I had a bee inside my house today. I opened the screen door and it flew out, then proceeded to turn around and bump into the screen door repeatedly trying to get back in. It's a dangerous world out there apparently.

Thank you so much for the Fav. My usual technique for shots like this is to set my P&S on macro and then take DOZENS of shots. One is bound to look halfway decent. ;-)
