I Hear There Are Herons in the Park

When I first spotted a heron in this section of Elysian Park several months ago, it was near darkness and I thought it was a water sprinkler. Once I realized it was a heron, I've kept my eyes peeled whenever I drive by.

Not a great shot, but I was so happy to finally see one again.

I saw a heron fly over me just as I was leaving the entrance to my n'hood the other day. I keep putting "look for heron" on my list!
