The CalTech campus has many nooks and crannies. This gate leads to a simple courtyard where I've seen the students holding gatherings. It was empty and peaceful today.
Very pretty shot..... We know Cal Tech...... born and raised in Whittier, and the guys at Cal Tech often asked us Whittier College girls to parties there..... I could tell a story about that too......
Hi Pasadena Rose! Cal Tech is a lovely campus. My sons were in a Rubic's Cube tournament there a few years ago and it definitely has the genius vibe going on! BTW, I must thank you for all of your encouraging and funny comments on my photos:) I appreciate that you take the time to stop by my project.
@aglennc Do tell, Anita! Curious minds want to know:). I am also a Whittier College Alum (Metaphonian!) I was there in the late 70's. Nice to see a fellow Poet on 365!
@vskolnik Oh, long story! But one invite by the Cal Tech guys was enough......... I only went to Whittier College one year ('56-'57) then transferred elsewhere. I was going to college with the same kids I went to kindergarten with, my family was well known in Whittier, Dad was in business there, and I just wanted a chance to go somewhere out of town...... be "on my own", so to speak, live in a dorm, etc. (I lived at home while at WC.)
