Finding his feet...

We are blessed with regular starling visitors. I am pretty sure this is a youngster, s/he was fairly timid and not too confident around the feeders. S/he is here waiting for her turn on a nearby fence.

For years I though these were dull birds and bullies at the bird table but now, I love them. They have such rich feathers and pretty speckles. This is a super capture of this young bird.
