Church of San Gil and Santa Anna by peadar

Church of San Gil and Santa Anna

The church was built in 1501, not that long after the reconquest of Granada by the Catholic West, after centuries of Muslim rule. Like most of the churches in Granada, this one was built over a mosque (the Almanzra mosque).
Wonderful pic!!

Great architecture. The pavement pattern is very strong and steals eyesight.
