An attempt-not a great one--to get a shot of Orion before the clouds came in. After much fiddling with the camera, focus etc, got one shot before the clouds obliterated the view. This looked interesting on my screen but not sure how it will read once it's posted.
Hey, I was also taking photos of the stars last night! However, I mostly concentrated on Andromeda :) Orion was blocked by my house after awhile, sadly haha. And clouds also came in! It was very nice and clear for most of the night!
Cool shot! I see Orion in the sky on most clear nights, but never thought of trying to photograph it! Interestingly enough, I am going to a workshop tomorrow on How to Photograph the Milky Way... I will pass on any tips!
