Tree blossom

Don’t know what kind of flowering tree this is, but I have made an inquiry. This is the same tree as last summer’s shots of a nesting bird — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-06-27 and http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-07-13 — thanks for the heads-up, Clare!

Although it’s from genus Prunus, it turns out this is a tough species to ID!
