New-to-me damselfly

In our back yard on a Knock-out rose bush: a “spreadwing.” The spreadwings form the small family Lestidae with only two genera; this one is from the genus “Lestes,” which contains more than a dozen species. Still awaiting a species ID (if possible) at BugGuide.net.

I was pleasantly surprised that I could get close enough for a decent image with a point-and-shoot.

Submitted to BugGuide, http://bugguide.net/node/view/1255837 but ID'ed only to genus Lestes (in the spreadwings family, Lestidae).
