Distancing, but a more ‘normal’ activity [Travel day]
This morning we left Mom’s and began the journey to Massachusetts, stopping for the night in Albany, NY. We found a better place to stay than the last time we stayed in Albany — horrible stay in a “boutique hotel” with no staff on site! — and we discovered this great restaurant occupying the space of the old pump station. A flight of beers and pub food; ahhh.

Many long years ago when we lived in Gilbertsville, NY, we got a babysitter for our 5 kids and drove towards Tanglewood for a concert. We hadn’t allowed enough time to get there for the concert and decided we’d stop in Albany for a date…NOTHING open, dead city. Sounds like it is more alive now
