Still no baby. So Jenny, Clare, & I took this little person to the Discovery Museum in Acton, MA. This display was in the room exhibiting various properties of magnets. This is a covered disk filled with fine sand. Under the table a computer program guides a magnet … and the metal ball in the sand follows the same path creating this beautiful pattern. Our granddaughter was quite taken. Actually, I was quite taken with many of the exhibits in this room!
