Morphed circles on Pi Day

I took photos with yardsticks lying across our two tree stumps to show the size (about 36×29" for this one), but I opted for this one on Pi Day (𝝅 ≈ 3.14). Even though the trunk was far-from-circular when it was cut down recently, the central rings were lovely circles 30+ years ago.

News note.
The priest who officiated at our wedding 43+ years ago — and a surprise renewal-of-vows for our 30th wedding anniversary — passed away March 11 at age 93. The day he died I took a photo of a photo of him that we have had. He touched the lives of so many in positive ways…
