Lost combination? No problem! by rhoing

Lost combination? No problem!

I had two of these padlocks — locked closed — with unknown combinations. They’re useless without the combinations, so I took photos and emailed them to Master Lock, via their “Contact Us” link.

The reply email stated: “Please provide an image of the back of your lock, ensuring the image clearly shows the serial number and that the lock is not attached to anything. Once both have been confirmed, if the combination is on file, we then will provide your combination.”

I sent photos and received both combinations in prompt reply. :)

Now that I’m looking for the links, I see that they have a “Lost Combinations” link, which spells out that they require a photo of the entire lock and the serial number.
