Unexpected Neighbours..

On the beach next to the bridge to Ephraim Island - a large family group of black swans. These have only recently called the Gold Coast home - it does make you wonder why....

We ate at the Black Swan in Pickering. They are a lovely swan.

We have lots of swans here at Soldiers Point, Salamander Bay and Corlette. There is plenty of seagrass in these areas and the swans love feeding on it so maybe if you have seagrass in this area that is the reason they have moved there.
