morning scenes

It's been a while since I did my longer Saturday morning jog/walk but today was lovely so I took the camera.
The centre picture is looking down the bypass towards Bennachie, then from top left:
The parcock tree stone, wheat in the fields, dying weeds and an old barn, the chair shaped stone from Battle of Barra (local hill), dresses in the window, garden poppies, a friend's door, Meldrum church drive, too early for children in the park, Sarah's honeysuckle, the petrol station across the road (David worked here in evenings /w-e when he was in his final years at school) and our house....
the curtains are still closed upstairs so Allan was still asleep!

Here is my collage from last year - fun for me to look back!

@happypat Thanks Pat, it's very rural but was a market town in the past and if I followed the longest loop roads/tracks round the town it would be about 4 miles. Just a nice size ......for children growing up especially, and easy to get to Inverurie for more shops and the train to Aberdeen!
